Review: Abaseria

Review: Abaseria

My favorite Filipino masterpiece dishes are found in Abaseria. They make the best mongo soup and lechon kawali. I love the place because of its exclusive location too. It is only in this restaurant that you can shop while waiting for your food to be served. You will find all Filipino pasalubong that you'll need here too. They have all the delicacies from Luzon to Mindanao. They have tableya, otap, shrimp paste, vinegar, and so many more. You will also find here all the native handcrafted art such as bags, carved wooden paper weight, women accessories as necklace and earings, hats, and so many more. Ain't it perfect? :)

Here are some photos of their food. I ordered sautéd okra and ribs.

Here's another angle of the marriage of food + shopping. Truly Filipino!

How to get there?

Abaseria is found in President Quirino Street, Villa Aurora, Kasambagan, Cebu City. If you are in Panagdait, turn right at the corner of Sarrosa Hotel. Just follow the road. You'll reach a curve at the end. Abaseria is the restaurant at the end of that road. You'll find it at your left.
