Café Georg is a restaurant that I always get to pass by on my way home. From the outside, it looks too sophisticated and expensive that you shy away from dining in. Well, here are the facts. It is indeed sophisticated even on the inside BUT it is not overly expensive that it is no longer affordable. Café Georg is a small restaurant maybe around 10 tables only. It has a function room though that is maybe good for a maximum of 25 people. The numbers are only based on my own estimate. The function room is a good dining option for celebrating birthdays and other important events. If you've noticed in my food blogs, I am not a fan of huge restaurants as I always love the exclusive ambiance that a restaurant gives.
For starter, my recommendations are Spinach & Cheese Dip, and Bacon Mushroom Dip that is about Php175 each.
If you prefer salad, I love their Mango Tahini for Php210.
If you like pasta, my recommendation is Aglio e Olio for Php180.
If you are like me who don't feel full without eating pork, I recommend Pork Chops with Garlic Herb Butter for Php220.
For chicken meal, I recommend Yellow Chicken Curry for Php220. I also love their Chicken Pot Pie for the same amount. The catch though is that you have to be able to wait for 20 minutes because it takes time to prepare. Mind you, 20 minutes is 20 minutes... not less.
If you prefer less cholesterol and would want fish, I recommend Black Bean and Garlic, and Spicy Red Curry Fish for Php220 each.
For dessert, I love everything. In these pics are a slice of Chocolate Mousse, Warm Brownie with Ice Cream on top, and Banana Cream Pie.
