I have been ordering cakes from Lani M. Garcia for several years now. I like ordering from her because she is creative. Her cakes and cupcakes always look really beautiful and each order is always unique. Most especially, I like how her pastries are not overly priced. I also like that her place is very near from where I live. It's only at Lahug and very convenient (for me) for pick-up of my orders.
Once you've ordered, you'll be given a list of options for cake flavors and cake fillings. She then reminds you to make a follow-up or check up order one day before pickup day. When your order is ready for pick up, she sends you SMS again to give you Storage tips for fondant covered cake. I like that kind of service. Kudos, Lan! ^_^
How to get there? Her kitchen address is at La Guardia, Lahug. Once you enter the road to La Guardia, turn left on the 3rd street. The street has no name, by the way. On the right, you will find #27 red gate with LMG pastry Chef signage. Just buzz the door bell. You can get inside the gate and make a U-turn.
You may send her an email firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries. You can also call her on landline number +63 32 231 3312, or text her on her mobile +32 917 3215334.
Today is the birthday of my husband dearest, Mc. He has turned 33 years old. Thank God for the wonderful 33 years that came! I pray that He will bless him with more years of good health, full of love, abundance, and happiness.
In our 6 years of marriage, I am never someone who plans surprises for him. This year, I thought of doing something different and surprised him with this cake. He had always wanted to buy his own Canon luxury lens especially for Sinulog and our planned trips this year. Because of that, I thought of asking Lani to create a cake with camera and his dream lens. I also wanted it to have a touch of Sinulog. I love the cake. It exceeded my expectation. I am glad I surprised him because he just can't stop smiling after that. He is very happy and pleasantly surprised.
Look who got his own Canon 70-200mm f/4 USM L lens and posed with the cake. ^_^
