Yesterday's visit to the cemetery wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. Maybe because 3 years had already passed since Nate left. People still ask what happened every time they pass us by. They still feel bad that such a young and beautiful angel left. I no longer feel bad. I probably got used to it too. Do you remember we had that World Heart Day Celebration at the Oupost last month? I was supposed to be the last sharer of story but we ran out of time.
We are bombarding this month with a lot of love through our Sunday activities at The Outpost, Lahug. On Septembebr 22, we were gathered with our heart champs for a brief press conference. We feel blessed to be supported by our Mutya ng Philipinas Tourism International 2013, Angeli Dione Gomez.
The activity was very well attended and we're proud of it. Thank you, everyone, for the support.
Here's a benefit that not everyone in the Philippines know. If your kid has Congenital Heart Defect, you can get a Person With Disability (PWD) ID for your kid. By showing this ID to pharmacies, you get 15% discount of all medicines that you purchase for your child. You also get 15% discount from professional fees of doctors and even in groceries. You get 20% discount on any food establishments too. If you want to learn more, inquire from your City's Social Service Office.
Last March 16, Cebu was once again in the map as bloggers, social advocates, journalists, and online business persons flocked to get involved. It was a whole day event of interaction and education. It was conducted at J Center Mall. The event was very well-attended even by big personalities such Maria Ressa of Rappler and Bianca Gonzales.
