It has been a tradition of the family to hold reunion every first day of the year. We usually hold our reunion at our grandma's ancestral home at Ramos. Because we have grown so many, the old ancestral home can no longer accommodate us. Since last year, we started holding our reunion at the only function place that opens on New Year day, JSU Mariners Court. It is a little pricey but we are very satisfied of the place especially because it is equipped with wifi.
This year, Lexmark Firmware Area goes around the world for our year-end party. The venue was at J Center Mall. We asked the catering services of Maria Lina Catering Services for our food.
I finally have enough breathing air to write about how awesome my Sunday was. I am actually on leave from work today to do some important errands (aside from blogging, of course hehe *wink wink*). Yesterday was our company's year-end party at the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Hotel. This year's theme was like no other! It was not glamour-filled with women wearing long gown and men on coat and tie. It was, however, filled with fun and a lot of dancing. It didn't matter what you wear. We came as we were. How cool is that?!
It's 10:22pm and I just got home. It was a very long day indeed. Today, I was part of Catholic history. San Pedro Calungsod was born and raised in Cebu. The saint has come back and made us all proud. The 27-hectare of land was packed with so many people. It was filled not only by Cebu residents but also from all over the world. I would estimate the number of people to reach around 1 million. Yes, that crazy! :) Parking area was not a problem for all who had passes. The parking guide was very helpful.
I witnessed for the first time a modern Chinese tradition today. It's my close friend's Tenghun (engagement).
Christmas is 38 days away from today. I will miss my baby more again in this celebration. I honor his life by helping this baby and posting this letter by the father of Brielle. Remember last October 14 when we had the 2 Hearts to Beat run? This is the same baby. Her fund still lacks around half a million for her open heart surgery.
Don't they just creep you out?!
Yesterday, my nephews were trick or treating at the offices and the malls. If you recall, I had mentioned my nephews in this funny post. Yes, these are the same funny crazy smart kids! LOL
