What to expect in police and military checkpoints

I received this email from our Security manager and thought it is a very useful information for everyone to know . Election is getting nearer and we are expecting several checkpoints. As a commuter, you have rights too. Know them. Ignorance excuses no one. Let's support our service men.

Group game Ideas? Check out Hawaii Hilakay reunion

It has been a tradition of the family to hold reunion every first day of the year. We usually hold our reunion at our grandma's ancestral home at Ramos. Because we have grown so many, the old ancestral home can no longer accommodate us. Since last year, we started holding our reunion at the only function place that opens on New Year day, JSU Mariners Court. It is a little pricey but we are very satisfied of the place especially because it is equipped with wifi.

Lexmark, it's ShowTime!!

I finally have enough breathing air to write about how awesome my Sunday was. I am actually on leave from work today to do some important errands (aside from blogging, of course hehe *wink wink*). Yesterday was our company's year-end party at the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Hotel. This year's theme was like no other! It was not glamour-filled with women wearing long gown and men on coat and tie. It was, however, filled with fun and a lot of dancing. It didn't matter what you wear. We came as we were. How cool is that?!

Pedro Calungsod: Thanksgiving Mass Nov. 30

It's 10:22pm and I just got home. It was a very long day indeed. Today, I was part of Catholic history. San Pedro Calungsod was born and raised in Cebu. The saint has come back and made us all proud. The 27-hectare of land was packed with so many people. It was filled not only by Cebu residents but also from all over the world. I would estimate the number of people to reach around 1 million. Yes, that crazy! :) Parking area was not a problem for all who had passes. The parking guide was very helpful.
