Review: Paku

I've heard of unlimited chicken wings by some restaurants but the reviews weren't that great. This, by far, is the best. It's a much cheaper version too.

Paku (translated as wings in English) offers Php199.00 for unlimited chicken wings and unlimited rice. The meal is best enjoyed in a group. If it is your first time to try, I suggest that you take all 8 flavors. You can ask for the flavors of your choice later. Make sure to order enough, though. Leftover chicken costs Php20.00 per piece.

My favorite flavors are teriyaki and lemon pepper.

Review: El Taquito

For a quick bite of Mexican food, I recommend El Taquito. What I like about the place is that it's not too fancy so I don't have to dress fancy to eat. The place satisfied my craving for burritos, tacos, and quesadilla. It's affordable too.

Review: Delice-yoso!

Looking for a good place to dine with a view? That is definitely at Delice! Delice is best known for its full bar (yes, wine, whisky, scotch are available too), and romantic view.

The food, although most reviews may not agree, I'd say is good too. It offers a variety of choices for the diners - from salad, to sandwiches, to pancakes, to steak.

Review: #batchoy328

I must admit. I've known of this hidden place from Instagram posts of foodie friends. They claim it's the best batchoy in town. I'm not a fan of batchoy in Cebu because I've never tasted anything better than LuckyMe batchoy instant noodles. Yes, I prefer LuckyMe than the batchoy I've tasted so far. What made me move to find out for myself is the fact that the chef is also the same one who had Uncle Noodles. Remember that restaurant?

Review: Kushiyaki Chikuzenya

AS Fortuna is a hub of good foodie surprises. Along that street, you'll find a variety of Japanese, Korean, and Filipino restaurants. Today we're trying a relatively new foodie place called Kushiyaki Chikuzenya. Well, it's new only to me because the restaurant is actually operational for almost 3 years now. They will be celebrating their 3rd year anniversary this April. Chikuzenya is one-third of its more famous food chain called Chibori and Barikata that are both located at Cebu IT Park.

Review: Southside Chicken Wings

There are only a few dining places that have delectable chicken wings that you would want to visit all the time. Southside Chicken is definitely one of them.  This place do not need any marketing advertisement. The place grew in popularity through word of mouth -- through testimonials. The restaurant is actually a portion of the owner's family home. Orders are cooked in their family kitchen. In Cebu, that is a common find. If you have a big unused space at home, you can use it for your business.
