The Little Prince and its lessons

The Little Prince has been written in the 1940s by Antoine de Saint-Exupery yet its lessons never go Jurrasic. The lessons continually shed light to each one of us as its famous quotes are being referenced to until now. I have to admit that I have just read this book now although I have come across it several times before. I never felt the urge to read it... and boy, did I regret. I recommend you read it. Don't overthink it. Just move along the pages. I am sure you will not even want to stop once you get started.

NuSkin Face Lift & Beauty Products

As a wise man said, "Beauty is the eye of the beholder". I agree with that. However, it does not hurt if beauty is also in the eye of those looking at you, right? We are, after all, social beings. With that said, I always make an effort to care for my skin and exert even much more care for my face (as it is more sensitive).

Fishing could be fun @ dPond

My whole team of 18 and I decided to spend our Saturday together for a team bonding activity. We wanted to do something else other than the usual lunch and movie. That's when we decided to go fishing. What?!?! Yes, you read that right. Fishing! Cebu is unique in that aspect. You can be as busy as a worker bee in the morning surrounded with all the noise in the city but can also be calm and relax like maybe go fishing in the afternoon of the same day. Liloan is only a 30-min drive away from Cebu City without heavy traffic.

Review: Techni-ICE it!

I had thought of buying my grandparents, tita/tito and their families, and neighbors with holiday hams for Christmas. The only bump to that idea was the fact that hams need to be kept cold during transport. Given the Cebu weather, that would prove very difficult to do. While I was looking around at a bazaar at IT Park last Christmas, I came across this wonderful invention that claimed to be safe and, in fact, have been widely used by countries such as Australia and New Zealand.

Steve Jobs by Sir Walter Isaacson

Having been able to practically grow my career in Mac as a Software Engineer, I have always been a fan of Steve Jobs. I love his passion and his keen for perfection. I have watched his failures and successes by reading through several news and opinions about him. I have never read anything from him about his life story. This book by Sir Walter Isaacson is a narration of how Steve views the events of his life. I definitely would recommend you to read it.
