Group game Ideas? Check out Hawaii Hilakay reunion

It has been a tradition of the family to hold reunion every first day of the year. We usually hold our reunion at our grandma's ancestral home at Ramos. Because we have grown so many, the old ancestral home can no longer accommodate us. Since last year, we started holding our reunion at the only function place that opens on New Year day, JSU Mariners Court. It is a little pricey but we are very satisfied of the place especially because it is equipped with wifi.

SweetStuff by Jill

On 2009, I received a Christmas gift from my best girl buddy, Gay, a box of delicious lace cookies. I love it so much that I began to examine the box. The box contains the number and some details. I've been ordering from Sweet Stuff by Jill Christie Uy ever since. I have not met Jill yet but she has been accommodating and replies to my inquiries all the time. She is also a co-Zugbuana sister of my close friend Rosel so I trust her.

Review: Café Georg

Café Georg is a restaurant that I always get to pass by on my way home. From the outside, it looks too sophisticated and expensive that you shy away from dining in. Well, here are the facts. It is indeed sophisticated even on the inside BUT it is not overly expensive that it is no longer affordable. Café Georg is a small restaurant maybe around 10 tables only. It has a function room though that is maybe good for a maximum of 25 people. The numbers are only based on my own estimate.

Review: Neelhit Sitarams Indian Grocery

We are having an open house at the office this weekend. I am pretty excited about it. It's the time when our family and friends can come to the office, tour at our labs, check out our products, and truly understand what we do. What I love more of it is the fact that they can also visit our cubicles.

The Five People you meet in Heaven

I have first known of Mitch Albom through his book, Tuesdays with Morrie. I loved it because of the lessons it imparted to me. This new book, The Five People you meet in Heaven, that I got a hold of comes highly recommended by a book lover such as mysef. It is written by the same author. I am not particularly a fan of death and its stories but I am a lover of wisdom. Indeed, this book has a lot of wisdom.

Sam Chino

In one of our lunch team bonding activities, Mam Borj suggested we try Sam Chino.

Sam Chino is a very interesting name of a restaurant. Later did I learn that it is named after its owner Jess Himo, an American-Chinese-Filipino native. For me, that explained the mixture of American, Chinese, and Filipino dishes in the menu. They have plated meals and ala carte of your liking.

A Bonne Spa Milk Salt

Cleopatra was said to be the mother of beauty. They say she has very smooth and even skin because she bathe in milk everyday. That could be true or merely an exaggeration. Nobody really knows. But bathing in milk??!.. Seriously? That's awesome! I would want to bathe in milk! ^_^ Wouldn't it be nice to bathe in milk when you get the chance? This A Bonne Spa Milk Salt gives you a piece of that.
