There's a new foodie place open in town. It's YakiMIX. The food is great and the line is long. Be sure to call for reservation.
Bacolod is only a 45min-flight away from Cebu. For Cebuanos, we have no excuse of not ever setting foot there. Bacolod has the best places that give the most delicious sweet treats. Caleya, Kuppa, Bong-Bongs, Pendy's.. these are only to name a few. Delicacies are plenty too -- napoleones, piyaya, half moon, cheesecake, chocolate cake. They are the best! Other food to try are grilled chicken and kansi.
Butterbean is in its soft opening and is there for the lovers of sweet. The cafe is strategically located near the best restaurants in town. You may choose to dine at Quest's buffet, Parklane's buffet, Simply J's, Kuya J's, or Surfin' Ribs and then drive or walk to Butterbean for your dessert. My personal preference is Surfin' Ribs. That way, I don't have to drive or change parking space to get my dessert. Surfin' Ribs and Butterbean are in the same block. In fact, they're in the same building.
Mismukuno Teppanyaki is a relatively new restaurant in AS Fortuna. It just opened this year. It's been flocked to by several customers even up to this day. Mismukuno is not even a Japanese name. I can guess what it means but I can't publish it until I get confirmation. If it's true, the name maker is very creative. :)
I have been riding cabs that have drivers with their own smartphone mounted on their glass. I saw the app flyer, also available in the cab, and immediately downloaded it. I've been using GrabTaxi ever since. I've tried EasyTaxi too but have not successfully booked any cab through it. The number of cabs linked to the app is probably few.
