Social Isolation

iPhone is an everything phone and it is addicting. You can do so much with it. You can download apps for remembering password, play games, track your gas consumption, be online in social network sites, check emails - work and personal, and so many more. It was created to make us more productive and it did to me. I love it.

What to do when your child has Congenital Heart Defect?

This week has been very emotional for me. It's my baby angel's 1st year anniversary. The same week last year, we were at Manila prepping for an open heart surgery. We were at the front seats as miracles unfold infront our very eyes. We were hoping for a grand ending but God has better plans. How fast time flies.

What advices should I give to fresh graduates? Words of the Wise by Teddy Locsin Jr

I was attending the commencement exercises of University of Cebu yesterday where my sister graduated from College of Laws. Despite the long wait and several inefficiencies in the program, I felt in luck because the guest speaker is no other than my idol, politician, lawyer, and journalist, Teodoro "Teddyboy" Locsin, Jr. I am a fan of his Teditorial segment of The World Tonight.

Facing your Giants

Struggling in a situation I was in, I've been wanting to read a book to console my restless soul. I do not like anything too preachy. I've opened books with interesting covers and titles, read a few pages but nothing felt right for me. I always find myself closing and putting it back on the shelf. A good friend of mine who manages OMF Literature, the store I was in, came to me and suggested Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado. Being a fan of the book and the author, she gave me an insight of what the book was about.
